COMMUNITY PRIVACY POLICY
This community allows you to build your network of contacts and leverage content powerfully, via discussion, messaging and information sharing. By its very design the community site facilitates communication and information sharing. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information Networked Insights collects and how that information is used in the operation of this community. Questions regarding this Privacy Policy should be sent via e-mail. Use of the community constitutes acceptance of this Privacy Policy.
The Information We Collect and How We Use It
Registration
- To create a registered account as a community member, we may require you to choose a member ID and password, and provide your e-mail address.
- We also may ask you to provide your full name, home country, ZIP/postal code, gender and birth date.
- Your ID provides you with a unique account to access the community and identify you to others within the community. As such, your ID will be visible to anyone who visits your page or your content additions. Your e-mail address is used to identify you in our system, to contact you in connection with your activities in the community (including, but not limited to, confirmation e-mails or important news affecting your relationship with Networked Insights, as well as to gather feedback via surveys to enable us to improve the community, and to forward messages to you from other community members.
- Your first name, gender, zip/postal code, city, state and country may be viewable by other community members.
Contacts Information
When you invite another person to register for the community and join the network, we may ask you to provide that person's e-mail address, and the nature of your relationship (e.g., brother, friend, co-worker, etc.) with that person. We may use this information to categorize your contacts within your network and allow you to limit access to information/content by relationship category (i.e., you may post an update to your personal information and limit its access to "family members").
Your Profile Page
Your profile page may include information about yourself to enable other community members to find your profile in searches, and invite you into their network. Information such as your user ID and avatar may be viewable by all community members.
Cookies and Log Files
Like most web sites, the community uses cookies and web log files to track site usage. A cookie is a tiny data file that resides on your computer and allows us to recognize you as a member when you return using the same computer and web browser. Cookies also help us understand how members use the community, which allows us to improve it. Due to the communications standards on the Internet, we automatically receive the URL of the site from which you came and the site to which you are going when you leave the community. We also receive the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer (or the proxy server you use to access the World Wide Web), your computer operating system and type of web browser you are using, as well as the name of your ISP.
Children
In compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we will not knowingly provide access to the community to persons under the age of thirteen (13). If you are under the age of thirteen (13), you are not authorized to use the Site.

Networked Insights is hosting this community for a particular company. Networked Insights will share your information with that company. Other than this company, Networked Insights may sell or lease your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, as part of its business model or as part of a sale of Networked Insights or some or all of its assets. Networked Insights has implemented security measures to protect member information from loss, misuse and alteration but we cannot guarantee such measures will always be effective.
